Health and Safety Qualifications

With the constant changes within Health and Safety legislation, it has never been more important to ensure compliance in this field. Contravening this legislation can result in prosecution, with the possibility of an unlimited fine or even imprisonment.

All employers are required to have the correct systems in place to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for employees and any other people who may be affected by their business activities. Through achievement of one of our health and safety qualifications, employees will develop the appropriate knowledge and attitude to contribute to an organisation’s continued compliance.

Legal Compliance

Our suite of Health and Safety qualifications have been created to assist businesses in complying with legal requirements by demonstrating that staff members have been trained in preventative approaches to hazards and in promoting a positive health and safety culture. They are also designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own responsibilities and how they contribute to the effective maintenance of health and safety policies.

Health and Safety qualifications are suitable for both the public and private sectors

Evacuation Chair Training

Qualification Overview

This evacuation chair training course teaches your colleagues how to swiftly use an evacuation chair whilst keeping the operator and evacuee as safe as possible.

During a serious incident such as a fire, every second counts. Any unnecessary extra time spent trying to figure out the correct procedure for the evacuation chair increases the risk of injuries or worse.

This evacuation chair training course teaches your learners how to quickly and safely use an evacuation chair so it becomes second nature to them in the event of an evacuation. Theoretical learning and a practical session will teach learners how to quickly open the chair, adjust it, secure the evacuee inside and then transport them to safety.

Manual handling will also be taught to ensure that the chair operator uses the correct lifting techniques to minimise the risk of injuring themselves whilst operating the chair.

To make our evacuation chair training course even more relevant, we provide a practical training session using your own evacuation chair so learners understand the model they are likely to encounter in an emergency.
